Bwindi Children Empowerment Charity (BCEC) is a registered, nonprofit community-based organization in Buhoma, in the Bwindi region of Uganda.
Many children here lack access to basic necessities, care, and education. With the help of local partners and global donors, we changing that – one child at a time.

Raised in Buhoma, now giving back
Our founder Akansasira Labour was raised by six families in Buhoma. A sponsor changed his life – and now he's giving back to his village.
